Robert Awdry has 20 years of complementary medical experience, much of it from his nine years practicing at the London Homeopathic Clinic in Harley Street. He now works full time at his home surgery near Shaftesbury with Nutrition as the basis of his practice.
Robert Awdry conducted one of the few double blind Homeopathic research trials ever undertaken involving patients with ME. This trial was initiated and funded by the Sainsbury Charitable Trust. Robert was selected to co-ordinate this trial at the London Homeopathic Clinic because of his rigorous results based medical approach to Complementary Healthcare.
From this information Robert then wrote the Homeopathic treatment guidelines that were recommended by Action for ME. But Robert had realised that to treat the diverse needs of today's patients required that Complementary Practitioners must now have a very wide range of medical skills.
Robert Awdry's multi disciplined approach draws on his training and experience in Nutrition, Homeopathy, Acupuncture, Nutrition, Herbal supplements, Allergies and Bowen physical manipulation to help an ever increasing range and combination of patients' illnesses. He is a fully registered and insured Member of the Institute for Complementary Medicine in London.
